A Morel-Lavallee lesion (MLL) is a closed degloving injuryof soft tissue after trauma. It is occurred by shear forceseparating subcutaneous tissue from underlying fascia andmusculature. It has been well described by some authorsas occurring in the buttocks, greater trochanter, and lateralthigh. To our knowledge, there have not been many reportson MLL of the knee and in Korea, there has been no casereport. We present a case of MLL occurred in right kneeafter snowboard injury diagnosed by clinical findings, MRIand ultrasonography (US) which was successfully managedby conservative treatment with serial US-guided aspiration.(Clinical Pain 2014;13:99-102)
